How to Build Trust and Loyalty in Payroll
Payroll is often seen as numbers in and payments out, but what if it’s actually one of the strongest levers of trust inside an organisation? In this session, Val Flight will challenge how we think about payroll’s role, uncovering how each pay cycle can
either build or erode confidence. Expect insights on how payroll shapes culture, strengthens relationships, and becomes a driver of long-term loyalty.
Speaker: Val Flight, Group Head of Payroll and HR
Panel: The Three Ls of Payroll — Law, Logic & Loyalty
Payroll sits at the intersection of law, logic, and loyalty — and when those forces collide, pressure is inevitable. This panel will explore how conflicting regulations, system “logic,” and employee expectations shape payroll, from regulator misalignment to trust after mistakes. Panellists will also share the bold changes they believe could define payroll’s future.
